tax audit report: Authorities extends deadline for submitting tax audit report until October 7

“On consideration of difficulties confronted by the taxpayers and different stakeholders within the submitting of varied studies of audit for the Evaluation 12 months 2022-23, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has determined to prolong the due date for submitting of varied studies of audit for the Evaluation 12 months 2022-23, which was September 30, 2022, to October 7, 2022,” an official assertion stated on Friday evening.

Underneath the earnings tax act, these taxpayers who have to get their accounts audited by a chartered accountant are required to file the tax audit report with the I-T division by September 30.
