Govt should do extra to uplift poorest 20% of households: EAC-PM paper

The federal government should do extra to uplift the poorest 20% of households throughout religions and social teams by specializing in offering facilities reminiscent of LPG and water on-premises, a working paper by the Financial Advisory Council to the PM has stated.

The paper, authored by EAC member Shamika Ravi, noticed that poor from minority religions had gained greater than the bulk in sure authorities schemes.
