India China Imports: India’s imports from China elevated 29 per cent in 5 years: Centre in Parliament

The minister was responding to a query on the main points of commodity-wise commerce with China over the past 5 years.

All these are the sectors wherein substantive imports happen.

“Technical Rules (TRs) have been framed for a number of merchandise for the upkeep of requirements/high quality of imported merchandise. It will verify the import of substandard merchandise,” the minister mentioned.

A number of commerce remedial actions have been taken towards imports from China to guard the home trade from severe damage towards unfair commerce, the minister additional mentioned in her reply.
