India to pay incentives price $1.32 billion below manufacturing scheme this 12 months

India expects to pay incentives price Rs 11,000 ($1.32 billion) to non-public firms this fiscal 12 months ending March for his or her investments to spice up native manufacturing, a commerce ministry official stated on Wednesday.

The federal government has already paid incentives price Rs 4,415 crore below the production-linked scheme, senior commerce ministry official Rajiv Singh Thakur instructed reporters. The scheme launched in 2020 covers 14 sectors from digital merchandise to pharmaceutical medicine.
