Amending an earlier notification, the Directorate Normal of International Commerce (DGFT) mentioned that export of rice (basmati and non-basmati) to EU member states and different European nations specifically UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland “solely” would require certificates of inspection from Export Inspection Council/Export Inspection Company.
