Rice exports: India holds ample rice shares, no plans to curb exports: Meals secretary Sudhanshu Pandey

India, the world’s largest rice exporter, has ample shares of rice and there’s no plan to limit exports, the highest official on the meals ministry stated on Monday.
India banned wheat exports in a shock transfer final month.
“Now we have greater than adequate shares of rice, so there isn’t a plan to think about this,” Meals Secretary Sudhanshu Pandey stated responding to a query whether or not India would think about any curb on rice exports.
