The Cupboard has authorised Rs 2,516 cr for the computerisation of 63,000 Major Agriculture Credit score Societies (PACS). Addressing a Press Convention, Info and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on June 29 stated, “Cupboard has authorised computerization of Major Agriculture Credit score Societies (PACS). 63,000 useful PACS shall be computerized with total finances of Rs 2,516 crore. It’s going to enhance their functioning and produce transparency.”
