The GST Community (GSTN) on Thursday mentioned the due date for submitting return for outward provides or GSTR -1 for March might be prolonged until April 12.
In a put up on X (previously Twitter), the GST Tech mentioned the GSTN has seen that taxpayers are going through difficulties in submitting GSTR-1 intermittently since Wednesday because of technical points resulting in gradual response on the portal.
“GSTN has accordingly really useful to @cbic_india that the due date for submitting of GSTR-1 for the month-to-month taxpayers be prolonged by a day ie until 12/4/24,” the GST Tech mentioned.
The due date to file GSTR-1 for a given tax interval is eleventh day of the succeeding month in case of taxpayers submitting it month-to-month and the thirteenth day of month succeeding the top of each quarter in case of taxpayers submitting quarterly.
