The federal government on Friday stated there are “strictly” no plans to impose the minimal export value (MEP) on all agricultural merchandise. Extra Secretary within the Division of Commerce Rajesh Agrawal stated that there isn’t any such intention of the federal government to look into exports of all agri merchandise.

“Simply wish to make clear that the federal government has no intention to place in MEP on all agri merchandise or evaluation all agri merchandise from the export perspective. There is no such thing as a such choice. The federal government has strictly no such plans,” he informed reporters right here.
